- To make your own modelling paste, add a little tylo to your fondant.
- Allow the modelling paste shapes to sit and firm up for a short time before attaching to your cake.
- If your modelling paste is sticking to your tools or mat use your FMM Dab-a-Dust for dusting with cornflour or icing sugar.
TO MAKE THE COT
- (PREPARE 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE) Roll out the white flower paste/gum paste. Cut out the cot panels and leave to dry for 24 hours. Once completely dry assemble as per cot instructions.
TO MAKE THE ROSES
- Roll out pink modelling paste and cut out 21 large roses and 3 small roses using the decorating strips from the FMM Gift Tag Cutter set. Roll out white modelling paste and cut out 1 small white rose using the small decorating strip. Sit to one side to dry off a little.
TO MAKE THE ROSE LEAVES
- Roll out green modelling paste and cut out 5 small leaves and 32 large leaves using the decorating strip. Pinch the bottom of each leaf to give it shape. Sit to one side to dry off a little.
