To make your own modelling paste, add a little tylo to your fondant.
Allow the modelling paste shapes to sit and firm up for a short time before attaching to your cake.
If your modelling paste is sticking to your tools or mat use your FMM Dab-a-Dust for dusting with cornflour or icing sugar.
Roll out blue modelling paste and cut out the sports top motif, make sure that you get rid of any excess paste using the pointy end of the FMM Knife and Scriber Tool. Roll out white modelling paste and cut out the sport top motif again in white. Using the FMM Knife and Scriber tool cut out the V neck and cuffs of sleeves in white and attach to the blue sports top with water.
Roll out white modelling paste and cut the football motif. Roll out red modelling paste cut out the football motif again. Cut out inner sections with the FMM Knife and Scriber tool. Attach to the white football with water to create a 2 tone colour ball.
Roll out ginger modelling paste and cut out a rugby ball motif. Roll out white modelling paste and cut out the rugby ball motif again. Cut out the stripes and lace section in white using the FMM Knife and Scriber tool.
Roll out black modelling paste. Allow it to sit and dry off for a while. Once it feels dry on top cut out a sports boot motif. Roll out white modelling paste and cut out the sports boot again. Cut the stripe and lace section using the FMM Knife and Scriber tool. Attach with water.
Roll out yellow modelling paste and cut out the sports trophy motif. Cut a small strip in black to attach to the bottom of the cup with water.
Once the decorations are completely dry you can place them on your buttercream swirled cupcakes.
